Modern Woodblock Print
Unframed modern woodblock print (ukiyo-e) of the ‘new print’ (shin-hanga) style from the Meiji Period to the Shōwa Period (1926-1989). The scene is reminiscent of the great Buddhist temples of Kyōto in Springtime.
This unframed woodblock print is in overall very good condition with some foxing of the paper in a few places. The print is signed: "Nishinomiya, Yosaku (西宮興作)". The print is attached to matt board and plastic cover. It measures 40.0 cm (16.0 inches) high by 27.5 cm (11.0 inches) wide.
