Satsuma Style Earthenware Vase
This is a vintage earthenware vase produced in the Satsuma School style of southern western Japan. The design of vase is polychromatic and thickly enameled with raised textures in places over a cracked white gaze. The subject of vase is Spring flowers and a songbird. The vases date from the mid Shōwa Period (circa 1950 CE).

The earthenware vase measure 26.2 cm (10.5 inches) tall. The vase stamped on its base 'bijutsu-tōki Japan' which means art pottery Japan. The condition for the vintage vase is excellent.
