Antique Mask Netsuke of Okami
This is a clasp (netsuke) for the drawstring of the traditional garment (kimono). Based upon its shape, design, and the known working period of the artist it was made during the early 19th Century. The theme is that of mask of the Japanese Goddess of Mirth Okami.
This antique netsuke is signed Gyokko on the backside by the artist. It is made of a stained Japanese boxwood and measures 4.0 cm (1.6 inches) long and 3.5 cm (1.4 inches) wide. Overall the condition is excellent for its age.

Returns are accepted during a three-day inspection period starting upon acceptance of the item with a 10% restocking fee of the original purchase price.
